Founded in 2018 in Baguio City, Philippines, Onyx's Cattery began with a simple passion for raising cats that are as loving as they are beautiful. We fell in love with the gentle nature of Scottish Folds, famous for their adorable "Buddha sit," and the playful spirit of Munchkins, known for their curious "kangaroo stand." Their unique personalities inspired us to create a cattery where every kitten is raised with love, patience, and responsible care.
Since then, our mission has been to provide healthy, well-socialized kittens that become cherished members of their forever families. Every kitten is raised in a clean, loving home environment with daily socialization and dedicated care before joining their forever homes.
Our vision is to be a trusted and responsible cattery recognized for ethical breeding practices, excellent feline care, and lifelong support for families who welcome our kittens.
To uphold the highest standards, Onyx's Cattery is a DTI-registered business (valid until February 11, 2030) and is internationally registered with the World Cat Federation (WCF Registration No. 25473-2020, valid until February 19, 2030). We are also a proud member of the Feline Council of the Philippines, a respected cat club organization in the Philippines known for promoting responsible breeding and feline welfare standards. We have also completed formal training on the Animal Welfare Act compliance (RA 8485 as amended by RA 10631) together with the applicable Department of Agriculture administrative orders and circulars, reinforcing our commitment to responsible breeding, ethical animal care, and the welfare of every cat entrusted to us.
